Richard Rice is our Firmwide Managing Partner.
Based in Atlanta, he is responsible for the overall management, operations,
and growth strategy of American Legal offices nationwide.
Mr. Rice has a strong background in
legal search and consulting, with almost a decade in the legal search
industry. A seasoned professional, he is well known for his knowledge of the
industry as well as his record of producing consistent growth. Mr. Rice has
extensive experience driving group acquisitions and mergers for many of the
nation’s most prestigious law firms in markets including Atlanta, New York,
and Washington D.C., as well as with foreign offices of major U.S. firms in
London, Munich and Seoul, South Korea.
His resume includes several years as
Director of Attorney Recruiting for an Atlanta based firm, and most recently
as Executive Vice President and Managing Partner for a major Atlanta-based
legal search firm.
Mr. Rice is a graduate of the
University of Tennessee and is a licensed private pilot and certified high
school and college football official.

Richard Brock is our company Founding Partner. He is
a former practicing attorney and has been in the legal search industry for nearly a
decade. Mr. Brock is a graduate of Washington & Lee University and the University of
Alabama School of Law. His background includes several years as a litigator with a
prominent Southeastern law firm. Mr. Brock has performed successful searches for some of
the best law firms and corporations in the nation. He has placed attorneys at all levels
of experience and also has facilitated successful law firm mergers.
Mr. Brock has launched four successful businesses, and has received
numerous awards as a successful entrepreneur and business leader. Through his years of
practice, success in attorney placement, and experience as a corporate leader, Richard has
developed extensive contacts in the legal and business communities throughout North
America.

Michael Humber is the Chief Financial Officer for American Legal.
Based in Birmingham, he is responsible for the budgeting & forecasting, financial reporting and treasury management for the company.
Prior to joining American Legal Search, Michael held various positions with a Big Four accounting firm in its financial advisory practice in Birmingham and New York. Michael has been the CFO for several startup and early stage companies, and is also a Principal with Redmont Venture Partners, a Birmingham-based private equity company focused on debt and equity investments in the healthcare, technology, manufacturing and services sectors.
Michael graduated with honors from Tulane University with dual degrees in Accounting and Information Systems, and is also an honors graduate
from Vanderbilt University’s M.B.A. program.
He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in Alabama.
Carter Hoyt

Carter Hoyt is the Managing Director of the Atlanta office.
Prior to joining American Legal, Carter worked as a legal recruiter for more than five years with a major Atlanta legal search firm, where she placed associates, partners
and groups with both law firms and corporations in Atlanta and nationwide. Carter also served for seven years as the
National Director of Recruitment and Professional Development for a leading Atlanta based law firm.
Her earlier recruiting career included serving as Senior Recruiting Manager for a Big Four consulting firm and recruiting for two Atlanta educational institutions.
In her spare time, Carter is involved in numerous outreach activities through her church and is an avid Atlanta Braves and professional and college football fan.
Among her prized possessions are a baseball and sign autographed by Francisco Cabrera who delivered “the hit” against the Pittsburgh Pirates which won the National
League Pennant and sent the Atlanta Braves to the 1992 World Series.

Ryan C. Grelecki, Esq. is a Senior Legal Recruiter for American Legal, and is responsible for recruiting Partners and Associates for major law firms, as well as placement of
in-house counsel, primarily in the Atlanta and Washington, DC legal markets. Ryan joined American Legal from the Atlanta
office of a premier international law firm, where he practiced for several years as a Litigation Associate in the Commercial
Litigation Practice Group. During his time in practice, he was heavily involved in the firm's recruiting efforts,
conducting on-campus summer associate interviews and participating in nearly all lateral interviews for the Atlanta office.
He combines his unique, hands-on experience practicing law with a keen understanding of the law firm recruiting process and
the intricacies of lateral attorney hiring.
Ryan is a magna cum laude graduate of the Florida State University College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif
and the Writing & Research Editor, as well as a Notes & Comments Editor, on the Florida State University Law Review.
He received his B.B.A. in Marketing and B.S. in Religion, cum laude, from the College of William & Mary.
Prior to law school, Ryan worked as a Technology Analyst for a global management consulting, technology services, and outsourcing company.
Dianne R. Cuneo, JD.

Dianne Cuneo is the firm's Operations Manager and is based in the Atlanta
office of American Legal. Dianne is the primary liaison between American Legal offices and is responsible for maintaining
continuity with our firm relationships, advertising, and job postings. Dianne is also responsible for recruiting Associates for major law firms,
as well as assisting with various aspects of the legal recruiting process. Priot to joining American Legal, she worked in the legal search division for
a major Atlanta based recruiting and staffing firm.
Dianne is a graduate of Emory University School of Law. While in law school, she worked as a student attorney for the Office of the Fulton County District
Attorney and the Barton Juvenile Defender Clinic, where she handled an array of criminal law cases. She has also worked as a law clerk and as a summer associate
for a civil litigation firm in the metro Atlanta area. She received her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, in Political Science from the University of Arizona.

Michael Forte is a Recruiting Assistant with American Legal. He assists senior recruiters in a wide variety of recruiting tasks including legal research, sourcing attorney candidates,
managing job orders, and reviewing resumes. Michael received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The George Washington University in 2010. Prior to joining American Legal, he
served an internship with an Atlanta based legal recruiting firm. An Atlanta native, Michael has a passion for a
variety of college and professional sports teams. While in high school served as the team captain for the varsity basketball and baseball team.

Sarah Evans Barnard is a Senior Legal Recruiter in the Nashville office for American Legal. Sarah is responsible
for recruiting Partners, Associates and support staff for law firms, primarily in the Tennessee and Alabama legal markets.
She has extensive legal recruiting experience in the Southeastern US legal market, including managing large scale contract
attorney projects.
Sarah joined American Legal from Lexis Nexis where she was an Account Executive for Harvard Law School. For four years
Sarah practiced as a taxation associate with a major Boston law firm. Prior to attending law school
Sarah worked in Human Resources for a major newspaper where she was responsible for recruiting all levels of staff,
managing onboarding of new employees and creating training programs.
Sarah is a graduate of the Boston College Law School, where she was also president of the Board of Student Advisors.
She received her undergraduate degree from The University of Texas at Austin, with a major in History.

Rhonda Singer is the Managing Director of the NY office of American Legal.
A former practicing attorney and a highly experienced search consultant
who founded and managed a contract attorney/paralegal search division prior to joining American Legal, Rhonda has
spent the majority of her legal career in New York City, and has
practiced as in-house counsel for major corporations. She was also General Counsel for the Better
Business Bureau of Metro NY. Her private practice has included practicing law as a
litigation and anti-trust associate for the New York offices of Winston
& Strawn (fka Whitman & Ransom) and Schnader Harrison Segal & Lewis (fka Rivkin Sherman & Levy).
Rhonda is a graduate of New York University School of Law, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude, from Yale University.
